Life in Dawson County

The Outhouse and the Stroller

Well, I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures from Eastern MT. Since moving out here the end of March, Josh has been busy. He replaced some plumbing in our new house, went to Kansas City for a roof training conference, and has been busy working on a project in Glendive. I love living out in the country with miles of county roads at my disposal. Before we left Bozeman, some friends gave us their bike trailer/stroller, which they weren't using. And I love it!! Now, you might ask why we chose to pose in front of the outhouse. Well, Josh's plumbing project is only part way done. The main line to the septic appears to be collapsed...or maybe frozen. Either way, it's going to involve some excavation to fix. So in the mean time, our gray water is routed out into the driveway, and Josh installed the trusty outhouse. Mostly it's just funny. You might be a redneck if your plumbing fix involves installing and outhouse.....

Josh's Mom was here for a week, braving the long drive and the outhouse:o) She brought an old crib that belonged to her dad and has been turned into a day bed for Guildy. They washed it up and painted it, and it's super cute.

Hadley and the VacuumHadley loves to 'ride' the vacuum and feel the wind blowing in her face!
