Summer Update
After a significant blogging hiatus, I have posted some pictures of our recent summer activites. We are still in Circle and will be here until September. Josh is roofing and has had a busy summer with work. The girls and I have been enjoying the warm weather after nearly freezing to death this spring. Circle has a couple parks, which we frequent, and we have made a couple trips to the Dredge Cuts at Ft. Peck to swim in the icy water. Guildy went to the summer reading program at the library and Hadley keeps us all on our toes with her antics and crazy ideas. Enjoy!!
Support Letter
We are in the process of getting ready to return to Honduras in October to work with Hospital Loma de Luz. Below are a couple recent pictures of our little family and our support letter. 
“It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6
When construction of Hospital Loma de Luz began in 1995, the north coast of Honduras was practically the end of the earth. It could boast no roads, no buses, no phones, no medical care. Today, a good gravel road, bus service, and numerous cell towers make it less isolated, and Loma de Luz provides amazing medical care to the population of 75,000 in its catchment area. And while Loma de Luz can’t offer many highly advanced surgeries or treatments, its 7 doctors, 12 or so nurses, and staff of about 50 treat 15,000 patients annually on an incredibly small budget. All those patients have opportunity to hear the Gospel, be prayed for, and visit with a chaplain. Each day, every day of the year, 1-2 people have come to Christ through the hospital’s ministry. Praise God for His steady work at the end of the north coast road, at what often looks like the end of the earth.
Our first trip to Honduras was 6 years ago in the summer of 2004. While we expected an interesting short term experience, God had plans to shape us and our future. We returned in 2006 for two years and again last winter for a short 6 months. We seem irresistibly called to Loma de Luz. We belong there, and God continues to provide worthwhile work for us to do there. We are planning to return in October for a 1 year term and are praying about a longer term commitment.
As before, Josh will do construction and maintenance work on the hospital and its accompanying buildings and housing and do his part to keep vehicles running. I will be teaching math and science classes for the older missionary kids, as well as home schooling Guildy, who will be a kindergartener this fall. I can’t believe she’s 5 already!! Hadley is 2 ½ and a very busy little person, and we will be adding another little Browning girl to the mix in early December. So we’ll have a lot on our plates, and are trusting the Lord to work out each challenge for our good and His glory.
Raising prayer and financial support seems to provide God with ample opportunity to build our trust in Him and prove over and over that He is sufficient in all things. That said, we would like to ask you to pray about supporting us, trusting God to let you know if it is something you should do.

Guildy and Hadley
The girls have had a busy summer so far. I've been terrible about taking pictures, so we don't have much photographic documentation of their activities. Guildy lost her first two teeth back in May. The permanent ones have already grown in, so you can hardly tell. She also learned how to ride a bike without training wheels. She loves her little John Deere bike, and she can often be seen on it wearing some combination of dress-up clothes with her manditory helmet.
Princess dress-up is still by far her favorite activity. I'm not sure when little girls grow out of this (or if they every do:o), but it is such a cute stage!! 
Hadley loves being a princess, too, but she's always ends up playing a little wilder and woolier version of the stereotypical princess. You know, the kind sporting crazy hair, a missing tooth, no shirt, and jumping off something. That's my little girl:o)
Hadley parted ways with one of her teeth back in May. The tooth had been loose for a couple months after several crashes and bumps but appeared to be hanging in there. But then she bit Guildy's foot and when she pulled her foot back, that marked the end of the tooth. It didn't actually fall out until the next day when I was unzipping her pajamas and she wiggled away and sat down. The tooth brushed against my hand and popped out on the floor. I did my best to no be horrified. But it was a little horrifying. As you can see, she is doing nicely without her tooth and likes to show it off.

The Sidney Fair
Josh's Mom and sister Cooper came and stayed at our house for a few days, so we decided to take in the Sidney fair. Cooper loves fairs, and living in New York City isn't conducive to locating any activity boasting garden veggies, home canned goods, and livestock. 
The girls went on a few rides. They liked them all, but the pink Jeep was definitely a favorite.

Oatus' Birthday and More
After the Ft. Peck camping trip, Josh's mom was here for a few days. Here we all are at Zech and Brianne's place near Miles City. 
Oatus turned 1 while we were there. He is the sweetest, most content little guy in the world. We love our nephews...and their parents, too:o)

We got to spend a few days in July camping at Ft. Peck with Josh's Dad, stepmom, and all his siblings. Quite the crew when we're all in a group....and wearing our matching t-shirts!

Hospital Finances
Samuel Jensen, a fellow Circle-ite serving at Hospital Loma de Luz in Honduras, sent this note out to his supporters about the hospital's current financial situation. It seems they are down to about 2 weeks worth of operating money. This has happened before, and God has has always been faithful to provide what is needed. Please pray for Loma de Luz!
"So, I feel fine telling you all this because I know you care, and if you want to give money, Im not touching a cent of it. All funds go through the hospital, and right now there is no money for the children's home, the hospital itself, or the farm after this next two weeks. We have already laid off a bunch of workers and have cut the little "fat" that there was. So keep praying for us all. If you do want to give, this is the address:

Missionaries keep talking about how to tactfully ask people if they would give towards the hospital in this time....... I just laughed because I don't feel that I have to be tactful when I'm not asking for myself. Have a great day; I greatly appreciate you all because I know you are there behind me. samuel"
