As you can plainly see, this is Josh eating pizza, but it's not the gluten-free variety. Now, those of you familiar with Josh and his gluten allergy know that this would normally cause gastronomic distress not fit for discussion in polite company. However, while we were in Bozeman, he did a series of allergy treatments with a naturopath that seem to have completely fixed his allergies...all of them! Since finishing his treatments, he has eaten wheat, snuggled a cat, worked around horses, sawdust, and hay dust, and stayed in a couple houses that normally give him terrible allergies/asthma, and all with no ill effects. He hasn't used his inhaler at all! Pretty amazing!
The treatments are basically accupuncture, but done with a laser instead of needles. First, they test you for what you're allergic to, then while you're holding little vials of your allergens, they laser certain points on the body. It sounds hokey, but we know of a growing list of people who have done it and had great results. The place in Bozeman that does the allergy treatments, along with all sorts of other health care, is called Rocky Mountain Natural Health Clinic.
