Rio Cangrejal

Way back in May, we spent a couple days at the Pico Bonito National Park on the Cangrejal River south of La Ceiba. We've been there lots of times, but it's always amazing scenery. This time, it was really dry, so the river was low. Here are Josh and the girls on the bridge over the river at the entrance to the park.

The ladies make quilts, pillows, bags, and such to support themselves, so Abby and I wanted to see their wares. However, to get to the houses, you have to ride across the river on the open gondola pictured below. Abby took a video of our trip across...check it out at the link below:
