Trip to the Beach

As our date of departure nears, we've been trying to hit our favorite Honduran activities one more time.

Talby specializes in The Stink Eye. She usually reserves it for strangers and other suspicious-looking people, but  this time I got it on camera.

Posie won't be coming back with us. Fellow missionaries Mike and Peggy are going to take her. She's a great dog,  and Josh has done a nice job training her, but it's just too pricey to justify bringing her back.

Pizza Party
The McKenney's have built an authentic Italian pizza oven, and Friday night pizza parties are wildly popular with our girls.

Trip to the Water Jungle
Another wildly popular activity is the Water Jungle, which is a water park near La Ceiba. We just went yesterday with the Tumlison's and a family that was visiting them. Between the water slides, the bumper floaties, and the ice cream afterward, I don't think the girls could possibly have been happier.

 Honduran Party
Don Goyo's birthday was last week, so we got to attend one last Honduran party, complete with BBQ'd bull, homemade tortillas, and lots of Coke.

Bout of Head Lice
Yep, it never fails that before we go to the States, we get head lice. Oh well, we're not too shook up by it anymore. A little Listerine, a little vinegar, a lot of combing - and it's under control.

Kinda looks like we're playing beauty shop. Nope, soaking their hair in  Listerine.
