Just a note on hospital finances at Loma de Luz, the Christian mission hospital we have served with in the past and will again be working at. I grabbed this off one of the American doctor's blog.
Concerns the hospital: finances have become really tight. Apparently the hospital is working w/ only about a week of buffer, which is not good. Our hospital has a great reputation for always having been able to pay its workers. We have been praying diligently. Please pray too. We know economic times are tough, but please consider contributing to Hospital Loma de Luz. Here is the info:
