The weekend of my birthday, we went camping out at the California coast with Zech and Brianne and another Middletown family. It was freezing cold and the camp ground was hilarious....sort of like sleeping on a lawn with a random cross section of the Walmart population. The boundaries of the property were deliniated by abandoned camper trailers, and frequent signage offered guidance on the care and disposal of fish guts. But it was a great weekend.
The girls loved the tide pools. 
I got to go running on a trail up and down the coast and got to spend time with some of my favorite people....and I got a cupcake. It was a great birthday:o)
